Walter Smith & Gordon Smith

“The training facilities are perfect and the food and accommodation at the Fontanges Chateau together with the short flight times from the UK make this a superb venue” reported Walter Smith prior to his return to Scotland.  “I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to any league manager at home and shall make a favourable report to the Rangers Directors as well as pass on the information to the Scottish FA”.

Gordon Smith commented that “the golf courses are some of the best I have played with magnificent views.  Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to try out the white water rafting but perhaps next time!”
